On Friday, October 25, families and Halloween enthusiasts are invited to embark on a spooky adventure filled with thrills, chills, and all things eerie. From ghostly train rides to haunted stations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Haunting Highlights
- Spooky Train Ride: Hop aboard the Goleta Short Line, which will be eerily transformed with ghostly lights and spine-tingling decorations for a ride through the dark and mysterious night.
- Trick-or-Treat Stations: Explore the Depot and stop by themed stations for a cauldron of Halloween candy and goodies—no tricks, just treats!
- Costume Fun: Don your most frightful or whimsical costume and capture the moment with a snap at our train-themed photo booth. Be spooky, be silly, but most of all, be ready for some fun!
- Spooky Storytime Tales: Gather ’round for spine-chilling but family-friendly tales during our special Halloween storytime. Not too scary, just the right amount of eerie for all ages!
- Haunted Depot Tour: Dare to enter the Station Master’s haunted home and venture into the Freight Room—if you’re brave enough to handle the haunted happenings!

- Kids: $10 per wristband ($8 for Museum members; free for Lifetime members), which includes unlimited train rides, access to haunted stations, spooky storytime, a treat bag for the first 50 attendees, and all event activities.
