The Coast Daylight
Watch as the famed Coast Daylight crosses the meticulously recreated Arroyo Hondo Bridge, west of Goleta. This scene captures the power and beauty of one of the most celebrated trains of its time.
Santa Barbara Railroad Yard
The Santa Barbara Railroad Yard is the most complex feature of the exhibit, showcasing the bustling activity that once defined this vital hub. La Patera Lane’s Lemon-Packing House
The model also features a detailed recreation of the lemon-packing house on La Patera Lane, one of the busiest rail sites in the Goleta Valley. This scene illustrates the vital role railroads played in the agricultural industry of the region.
