To help protect the historic property from wet weather, the City of Goleta has installed temporary fencing and sandbags around the Depot at 300 N. Los Carneros Road. While the historic museum building is temporarily closed for the season, the Visitor Center and train rides are still open!
Visitors can explore designated areas of the grounds and enjoy train rides on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 PM to 4 PM, weather permitting. The last train departs at 3:45 PM.
The Depot is also getting ready for its 34th Annual Candy Cane Train, returning November 28 through December 27, 2026. More details coming soon!
